Apothekertrakt Schönbrunn.

On the east side of the world-famous Schloss Schönbrunn, just a few minutes' walk from Schönbrunn underground station, lies one of Vienna's most remarkable event venues. The Apothekertrakt – once the winter home of rare citron trees and the pharmacy of the imperial household – has been carefully transformed into a modern event centre that combines historic grandeur with contemporary conference infrastructure, and it has been certified as a sustainable event venue under the Austrian Ecolabel (Österreichisches Umweltzeichen).

Ten individual rooms totalling 2,700 m² host events of every kind and size, from an intimate board meeting for 10 people to a congress for several hundred guests. At its heart is the spacious Spitzhof (450 m², up to 397 people in theatre seating), whose incomparable ambience makes it an exclusive reception area. The historic Maria Theresia hall (262 m², up to 200 people theatre-style), with its gently curved shape and round-arched arcades, offers plenty of scope for congresses, gala dinners and product launches. Classic seminar rooms such as Franz Stephan, Marie Antoinette and Sophie can be combined flexibly for parallel workshops and breakout sessions – Sophie and Leopold, for example, via a movable partition wall. All rooms are on the ground floor, wheelchair accessible and flooded with light, with direct access to the outdoor areas, including the leafy Apothekerhof courtyard (560 m²) and the Orangery Garden terrace (600 m²).

Special highlights for your supporting programme include exclusive evening tours of Schloss Schönbrunn, rides on the Panorama Train through the palace park, visits to the zoo or the marionette theatre, and tours of the White and Gold Room and the Great Gallery in the palace itself – a unique imperial flair that no conference centre can replicate.
