General Terms of Use.

Last updated: October 2026

1. Scope and contracting party

1.1 These General Terms of Use (“T&Cs”) apply to the use of the JustRoom internet platform, available at www.justroom.at and www.justroom.de (together the “Portal”). The operator of the Portal and contracting party is Philip P.M. Jansohn, Canettistraße 1/1201, 1100 Vienna, Austria (hereinafter “JustRoom”; further details in the imprint). The version of these T&Cs published at the time of use applies.

1.2 These T&Cs apply to all persons who use the Portal. “Event planners” are persons or companies who use the Portal to search for venues and to contact them. “Providers” or “partners” are operators of event venues, seminar hotels, meeting spaces and similar businesses who present their venue on the Portal. The partner terms for venues (section 4) apply to providers in addition.

1.3 Use of the Portal is free of charge for event planners.

2. Services of JustRoom

2.1 JustRoom is an internet portal on which event planners can find suitable venues (e.g. event venues, seminar hotels, meeting spaces) for events and send them non-binding enquiries.

2.2 Each venue is presented with its own profile. The content of the profile is provided by the provider, who is responsible for its accuracy.

2.3 JustRoom is available to event planners and providers for questions via the contact form and by email (info@justroom.at).

2.4 Enquiries: Event planners can enquire with a single venue via its enquiry form or with up to four venues at once via the group enquiry. The enquiry is sent by email directly to the contact address stored by the provider. The event planner receives a confirmation by email. JustRoom charges no commission or fee for enquiries or resulting bookings – neither to the event planner nor to the provider.

2.5 Enquiry status: Providers can indicate the processing status of an enquiry in the venue area (e.g. “in progress”, “offer sent” or “declined”). JustRoom shows this status to the event planner on a status page. The information comes from the provider; JustRoom gives no guarantee as to its accuracy or timeliness.

2.6 Contracts only between event planner and provider: JustRoom only establishes contact. A contract for the event, rooms or services is concluded exclusively between the event planner and the respective provider – on the basis of the provider’s offers and terms and conditions. JustRoom does not become a party to the contract and accepts no responsibility for the conclusion or performance of contracts, cancellations or postponements of events, or any other agreements between event planner and provider.

3. Accuracy of information, liability and copyright

3.1 The information shown on the Portal is intended to help event planners make decisions. The order of venues in lists depends, among other things, on the booked package and does not imply any assessment of a provider’s quality.

3.2 JustRoom does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness or completeness of the content shown. This applies in particular to content (texts, photos, prices, capacities, data sheets, videos etc.) provided by the provider for its profile; the respective provider is solely responsible for this content. Prices on the profiles are guide prices; the provider’s offer is binding.

3.3 The information on the Portal – including the budget calculator, checklists and magazine articles – is for general information only and does not constitute legal or tax advice.

3.4 The Portal contains links to external websites. JustRoom has no influence on their content and accepts no responsibility for it. No illegal content was apparent at the time the links were set. Links will be removed promptly if JustRoom becomes aware of any infringement.

3.5 There is no entitlement to the Portal being available permanently, without interruption and/or unchanged. JustRoom may change, restrict or discontinue the Portal at any time, in particular for maintenance.

3.6 Limitation of liability: JustRoom is liable – on whatever legal grounds – only for damage caused by intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded. This exclusion does not apply to damage resulting from injury to life, body or health or to claims under mandatory statutory provisions (in particular product liability law). Towards consumers, the statutory liability rules apply insofar as they are mandatory. JustRoom is not liable for breaches of duty by providers or other third parties.

3.7 Content with inadmissible or inappropriate depictions will not be published and may be removed by JustRoom at any time without prior notice.

4. Providers (venues)

4.1 A partnership with JustRoom is required to present a venue on JustRoom. Conclusion of contract, packages, fees, term, cancellation and the rights to content provided are governed by the partner terms for venues (www.justroom.at/en/partner-terms/) together with the respective partner agreement. In the event of any conflict, the partner terms and the partner agreement take precedence over these T&Cs. There is no entitlement to be listed.

4.2 Partnerships are generally subject to a fee. JustRoom may offer individual providers promotional or special conditions; these apply only as set out in the respective partner agreement or personal offer.

4.3 Access to the venue area (login details and login links) must be treated confidentially and is not transferable. Providers are liable for activities carried out using their access unless they are not responsible for the misuse.

4.4 JustRoom may block access and take profiles offline for good cause, in particular in the event of misuse, repeated false information, breaches of these T&Cs or default in payment despite a reminder.

5. Features for event planners

5.1 No registration is required for searching, the shortlist, enquiries and group enquiries. The shortlist is stored only locally in the event planner’s browser.

5.2 My enquiries: Under “My enquiries” the event planner can see the enquiries sent via JustRoom and their processing status, and can send an earlier enquiry again. Access works without a password via a login link that JustRoom sends to the email address given in the enquiry. The event planner is responsible for ensuring that only they have access to this email address and to any device that is signed in.

5.3 Event planners provide truthful information in enquiries and use the enquiry forms only for genuine enquiries about events. Advertising, mass enquiries without a specific occasion and other misuse are not permitted; JustRoom may withhold such enquiries and block further use.

5.4 Event planners can have the data stored by JustRoom about their enquiries deleted at any time via “My enquiries” or by email to info@justroom.at. Enquiries already sent to providers are not affected; the respective provider is responsible for these. Details are set out in the privacy policy.

6. Use as a reference

6.1 JustRoom may use the company name and logo of a business event planner for its own reference and advertising purposes (e.g. on the website, in presentations or on social media) only if the event planner has expressly agreed to this in advance (e.g. by email). Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future by email to info@justroom.at; materials already produced may be used up.

7. Changes to these T&Cs

7.1 JustRoom may change these T&Cs where this is necessary due to changed legal or technical conditions or for the further development of the Portal and the change is reasonable for event planners and providers.

7.2 Planned changes will be announced to providers by email at least four weeks before they take effect. If the provider does not object within four weeks of receiving the announcement, the amended T&Cs are deemed accepted. JustRoom will expressly point out the right to object, the deadline and the significance of silence in the announcement. If the provider objects, the previous T&Cs continue to apply to them until the end of the current contract period; JustRoom is entitled to end the partnership at that time. For event planners, the version published at the time of use applies.

8. Final provisions

8.1 Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the conflict-of-law rules of private international law. Towards consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not override mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence.

8.2 For disputes with businesses, the court with subject-matter jurisdiction in Vienna is agreed as the place of jurisdiction. For claims against consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.

8.3 Should individual provisions of these T&Cs be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by the valid provision whose effect comes closest to the economic objective that the parties pursued with the invalid provision. The same applies to any gaps.

8.4 The contract and communication language is German. This English version of the T&Cs is provided for information; in the event of discrepancies, the German version prevails.

Please send any questions about these terms of use to info@justroom.at.
