Orangerie Schönbrunn.

The Orangerie Schönbrunn is a jewel of Baroque architecture and one of the most important event venues in Vienna. Built in the 18th century, it housed exotic plants over the winter but also served as a showcase for courtly festivities. Under Emperor Joseph II, it hosted glittering receptions, theatre performances and celebrations. Legendary is the musical contest between Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri that made the Orangerie world-famous. During the Congress of Vienna, too, statesmen, diplomats and artists danced in this magnificent hall.

Today the Orangerie offers a unique combination of historic ambience and state-of-the-art event technology. The great hall, with its striking architecture and wide expanses of windows, is perfect for conferences, seminars, congresses, product launches, gala evenings, company parties and exclusive weddings. Direct access to the Orangery Garden adds an impressive outdoor backdrop to every event – ideal for receptions, cocktail parties or summer parties.

The flexibility of the spaces deserves special mention. Smaller celebrations find an intimate setting in the Orangerie's festive hall, while combining it with the adjoining spaces in the Apothekertrakt makes large-scale events with several hundred guests possible. State-of-the-art lighting and sound, variable seating plans and professional on-site support mean the widest range of event concepts can be delivered perfectly.

The Orangerie Schönbrunn impresses not only with its majestic atmosphere but also with its excellent location in Vienna. Right next to Schloss Schönbrunn, it is just as easy to reach by public transport as by car. Good infrastructure, nearby hotels and parking complete the package.

For companies, the Orangerie is an ideal setting to showcase brand messages, launch products or hold staff events in prestigious surroundings. Private hosts, meanwhile, value the venue for weddings in Vienna, anniversaries or exclusive banquets, which take on a very special sparkle against the splendid Baroque backdrop.

An experienced events team supports you from planning and technology through to catering. Tailor-made concepts, outstanding cuisine and creative supporting programmes ensure every event is one of a kind. Whether it's a conference in Vienna, a wedding reception in palace surroundings or a festive gala evening, the Orangerie Schönbrunn offers the perfect setting for unforgettable moments.

With its long history, magnificent architecture and modern facilities, the Orangerie Schönbrunn is one of the top event venues in Vienna. Here past and present merge into an incomparable experience – and your guests will remember the occasion for a long time to come.
