General Terms of Use.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Scope and contracting party

1.1 These General Terms of Use (“T&Cs”) apply to the use of the JustRoom internet platform, available at www.justroom.at and www.justroom.de (together the “Portal”). The operator of the Portal and contracting party is Philip P.M. Jansohn, Canettistraße 1/1201, 1100 Vienna, Austria (hereinafter “JustRoom”; further details in the imprint). The version of these T&Cs published at the time of use applies.

1.2 The T&Cs apply to all persons who use the Portal. “Users” or “Organisers” are persons or companies who use the Portal to search for venues and service providers and to contact them. “Providers” are persons or companies who present their venue or service on the Portal. The special provisions in section 4 additionally apply to Providers.

1.3 Use of the Portal is free of charge for Users.

2. JustRoom's services

2.1 JustRoom is an internet portal that enables Users to find suitable Providers (e.g. event venues, seminar hotels, meeting rooms, wedding venues, caterers or other event service providers) for events and to send them non-binding contact enquiries.

2.2 Providers have the opportunity to present their venue or service on JustRoom. For this purpose, a Provider profile is created for each venue, containing the essential information. This content is provided to JustRoom by the Provider; the Provider is responsible for its accuracy.

2.3 JustRoom is available to both Providers and Organisers for questions via contact form or live chat.

2.4 Enquiry tool: Organisers can contact the Provider of a venue listed on JustRoom directly via a contact form. Enquiries are transmitted directly to the Provider. JustRoom does not charge any commission or fee for enquiries and events arranged through the Portal – neither to the Organiser nor to the Provider.

2.5 Contracts only between Organiser and Provider: JustRoom solely facilitates contact. A contract for the event, premises or services is concluded exclusively between the Organiser and the respective Provider – on the basis of the offers made by the Provider and its terms and conditions. JustRoom does not become a party to the contract and assumes no responsibility for the conclusion or performance of contracts, for cancellations or postponements of events, or for any other agreements between Organiser and Provider.

3. Accuracy of information displayed, liability and copyright

3.1 JustRoom provides information on various Providers. The information displayed on the Portal is intended to support the User's decision-making. The order in which Provider profiles are displayed does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the quality of a Provider.

3.2 JustRoom gives no guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of the content displayed. This applies in particular to content (texts, photos, data sheets, videos, etc.) that the Provider supplies for the creation of its profile; the respective Provider is solely responsible for such content.

3.3 The information on the Portal is for general information purposes and does not constitute legal or tax advice.

3.4 The Portal contains links to external websites. JustRoom has no influence over their content and accepts no responsibility for it. At the time the links were created, no unlawful content was apparent. Should any infringements become known, the relevant links will be removed immediately.

3.5 There is no entitlement to the Portal being available permanently, without interruption and/or unchanged. JustRoom may change, restrict or discontinue the Portal at any time, in particular for maintenance work.

3.6 Limitation of liability: JustRoom is liable – on whatever legal grounds – only for damage caused by intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded. This exclusion of liability does not apply to damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, or to claims under mandatory statutory provisions (in particular under the Austrian Product Liability Act). For consumers within the meaning of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG), the statutory liability rules apply insofar as they are mandatory. JustRoom is not liable for breaches of duty by Providers or other third parties.

3.7 Rights of use for uploaded content: By uploading photos, images and other content, the Provider confirms that it holds the necessary rights to this content and that the content does not infringe any third-party rights (in particular copyright, trade mark, personality or data protection rights). The Provider grants JustRoom a simple (non-exclusive), worldwide right of use, limited to the duration of the partnership, to display the content on the Portal and to reproduce, edit (e.g. cropping, format adjustments) and make the content publicly available for the purpose of promoting the Portal and the respective Provider profile in online and offline promotional materials (e.g. social media, newsletters, presentations). After the end of the partnership, JustRoom will remove the content from the Portal within a reasonable period; promotional materials already produced and published may be used up. The Provider shall indemnify and hold JustRoom harmless against all third-party claims arising from a breach of these assurances.

3.8 Content containing impermissible or inappropriate material will not be published and may be removed by JustRoom at any time without prior notice.

4. Registration of a Provider account (“venue profile / service profile”)

4.1 Registration as a Provider is required to present a venue or service on JustRoom. There is no entitlement to registration. A Provider account is not transferable. The partnership is subject to a fee; activation of the listing requires the conclusion of a corresponding agreement between the Provider and JustRoom.

4.2 The data requested during registration must be provided completely and truthfully and must always be kept up to date. Providers are liable for all activities carried out using their Provider account, unless they are not responsible for the misuse.

4.3 JustRoom reserves the right to block or delete Provider accounts and to remove listings if there is good cause, in particular in the event of misuse, breaches of these T&Cs or late payment despite a reminder.

4.4 Listing a venue or service is subject to a fee. The Provider selects a corresponding listing package for this purpose. The term is one year and is automatically extended by a further year unless terminated in due time (section 4.6). This does not apply to special offers, welcome offers and other promotions with separately agreed conditions. JustRoom will inform the Provider of changes to services or prices in good time before they take effect; price changes only apply from the next renewal period.

4.5 JustRoom does not charge for services to which the Provider has not expressly agreed.

4.6 The term of the partnership begins when the listing is activated on the Portal, but no later than the invoice date. Either party may terminate the partnership by giving one month's notice to the end of the respective contract year. Notice of termination must be given at least in text form (e.g. email to info@justroom.at). Fees already paid for the current contract period will not be refunded; the right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected.

5. Registration of a user account (“Locationfinder PRO”)

5.1 No registration is required for the general venue search function. For extended functions – such as managing favourites lists or group enquiries – registration of a free user profile is required (“Locationfinder PRO”).

5.2 The data requested during registration must be provided completely and truthfully and kept up to date.

5.3 Enquiries made via a venue's contact form are non-binding and are transmitted directly to the respective Provider. JustRoom charges no commission or fees to either the User or the Provider for enquiries or resulting bookings.

5.4 A Locationfinder PRO profile can be used at any time to create a venue of one's own. In this case, the provisions for Providers (section 4) additionally apply.

5.5 A Locationfinder PRO profile can be deleted free of charge at any time. An email to info@justroom.at is sufficient for this.

6. Use as a reference

6.1 JustRoom may only use the company name and logo of a commercial Organiser for its own reference and advertising purposes (e.g. on the website, in presentations or on social media) if the Organiser has expressly agreed to this beforehand (e.g. by email). Consent given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future by email to info@justroom.at; materials already produced may be used up.

7. Changes to the T&Cs

7.1 JustRoom may amend these T&Cs insofar as this is necessary due to changes in the legal or technical framework or for the further development of the Portal, and the change is reasonable for Users and Providers.

7.2 Planned changes will be announced to registered Users and Providers by email at least four weeks before they take effect. If the User or Provider does not object within four weeks of receipt of the announcement, the amended T&Cs shall be deemed accepted. In the announcement, JustRoom will expressly point out the option to object, the deadline and the significance of remaining silent. In the event of an objection, JustRoom is entitled to terminate the contractual relationship with ordinary notice; in this case, the previous T&Cs continue to apply to Providers until the end of the current contract period.

8. Final provisions

8.1 Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the conflict-of-law rules of private international law. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which the consumer has their habitual residence.

8.2 For disputes with businesses, the court with subject-matter jurisdiction in Vienna shall have jurisdiction. For actions against consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.

8.3 Should individual provisions of these T&Cs be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by the valid provision whose effect comes closest to the economic objective that the parties pursued with the invalid provision. The same applies to any gaps in the contract.

8.4 The language of the contract and of communication is German.
